Roy Roger GTJHS Best Buddies Fundraiser

Roy Rogers, at Amber Meadows, is donating 25% of proceeds for anyone that mentions our flier on October 26, from 5-8 pm.

This event is to help get our Best Buddies Chapter at GTJHS off the ground and running. We are the only, officially registered Best Buddies Best Buddies high school chapter in Frederick County. This is our first year!

Best Buddies builds one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), offering social interactions while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion for a population that is often isolated and excluded. Through their participation, people with IDD form meaningful connections with their peers, gain self-confidence and self-esteem, and share interests, experiences and activities that many other individuals enjoy.
